Beginnings of the Beach Life

A couple hours south of Mazatlan is a great beach called La Tambora. There's a nice little town there too.

I stopped for lunch. Decided to stay for a couple days!

Home, home on the range... er... beach. Got my first surf in a while at a nice wave early the following morning. Nice spot, only one out in the water.

Popped into San Blas and Cochama which were two fun little beach towns, but my favorite was Sayulita, pictured below. Sayulita is about 20 miles north of Puerto Vallarta. Its small, but stuffed with snowbirds, expats and surfers. It's pretty gringo, but I liked the vibe, and the waves. I'd love to go back.
