From Hidalgo to Mazatlan

After leaving the Potrero, it took me about a day and a half to drive to Mazatlan. The bit from El Salto to Mazatlan was one of the most fantastic drives I've ever done. Super curvy road on the spine of the highest point of the mountains. One spot was called El Espina del Diablo.














Did I mention it was curvy? yes, that is an overturned semi below the hairpin!














Car Envy!!! I talked to the couple that owns this, Germans who have been on the road for 5 years. 2.5 years in Africa, 2.5 in South America. They're on their way to Alaska.
